The AHMM/BR-8 of muskmelon is registered with the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights (PPV&FR) Authority in New Delhi under the category of 'New.' It has been granted protection on 16th July, 2024 (Registration No. REG/2015/2036) for its unique trait, specifically its monoecious sex form, under the PPV&FR Act, 2001.

The Thar Karni (AHRG-29) variety of ridge gourd is registered and protected under ‘Extant (Notified)’ category on 28th November, 2024 (Registration No. REG/2024/0172) with the PPVFR Authority, New Delhi, in accordance with the PPV&FR Act, 2001.
